Description of Insulin Aspart, Recombinant

Insulin aspart, with the chemical name of Asp(B28) human insulin analog, is a rapid-acting insulin. Insulin aspart (NovoLog) developed by Novo Nordisk was licensed in 2000. Other available insulin aspart formulations include NovoRapid (Novo Nordisk), and Fiasp (Novo Nordisk).
