Case Study

Engineered Hansenula polymorpha improved HPV L1 VLP expression yield. 

We have established yeast Hansenula polymorpha (H. polymorpha) engineering and screening platform for recombinant proteins/peptides expression. Firstly, we generated H. polymorpha protease-deficiency strains by targeted gene deletion. Secondly, a vector carrying the HPV L1 gene was transformed into the competent H. polymorpha cell. Finally, we screen the best clone from hundreds of options, with genetically stability and high-producing properties.
