Description of Engerix-B

Engerix-B is another licensed recombinant Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) vaccine consisting of Hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) and aluminum-based adjuvant. Engerix-B was developed by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and was licensed in 1989.
