Firefly luciferase saRNA expresses luciferase protein, originally isolated from the firefly, Photinus pyralis. This protein emits bioluminescence in the presence of the substrate, luciferin. Firefly luciferase saRNA is commonly used as positive control in saRNA transfection and delivery system development. Firefly luciferase saRNA can also be utilized in mammalian cell culture to measure both gene expression and cell viability.
Yaohai Bio-Pharma offers unmodified Firefly luciferase saRNA, with Cap1 structure, optimized codons, engineered UTR and 110nt polyA tail, to improve saRNA stability and translation efficiency.
